Job Description
An Encoder is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting, updating, and maintaining data in the company’s database or system. They ensure data integrity, confidentiality, and proper documentation of records. This role requires attention to detail, proficiency in data entry software, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Input and update data accurately in the system or database.
- Verify and review data for errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of digital and physical records.
- Generate reports and retrieve data as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company information.
- Coordinate with different departments for data validation and accuracy.
- Perform basic administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a background in IT, Business Administration, or any related field.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word) and data entry software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
